Drawing with Gravity

To draw with gravity, I decided to film objects of various weights, sizes and consistency as they fall from the same point. Then, I manipulated the film by slowing it down. By slowing down the film the viewer can easily view the way the objects react to gravity's pull.

Drawing with Eradication

For erasure/eradication, I took old family photos and removed/blurred the faces of every individual within the picture. 

Drawing with Textiles (Yarn)

To draw with textiles, I decided to use yarn and create webs in various places within the routine of my daily life.

Drawing with Transparency

I recreated photographs taken in the mountains of North Carolina using large general color values with construction paper, tracing paper to represent the fog, and pencil to add texture and detail.

Drawing with Tape

For this series of eight, I made portraits of my friends using black tape against colored construction paper. When using the tape, I manipulated it only by ripping it. Ripping the tape gave the portraits slight imperfections,  but also made them more organic looking and personable.
